This workshop will guide participants through a series of practical lessons in the world of ancient book restoration. Participants will learn to use traditional restoration tools and materials such as Japanese paper, gold leaf, and natural glue to restore ancient books. From paper repair to spine reconstruction, and even the delicate decoration with gold leaf, each step requires high skill and patience.

During the workshop, participants will personally engage in all aspects of the book restoration process, including paper repair, spine restoration, and binding. The focus will be on teaching participants how to assess the causes of book damage and select appropriate restoration methods.
