Beneath the Abyss is a series of black and white engravings that explore the collision and conflict between humanity, nature, and the supernatural world. Using strong black-and-white contrasts, the artist intertwines human existence with the forces of nature and the mysterious powers of the supernatural, depicting humanity’s challenge and response to the environment and unknown forces. These works use a minimalist color palette and the form of engraving to express complex emotions, conflicts, and philosophical reflections.

Each piece constructs a unique visual effect through intricate lines and intense black-and-white contrasts, showcasing the tense relationship between humanity and nature, as well as between human beings and the supernatural. Through this series of works, the artist hopes to provoke deep reflection on the relationship between humanity and nature, and humanity and the supernatural, while exploring the limits of life and the true meaning of human existence.
