The story takes place in Frostmoon Town, a secluded settlement surrounded by misty hills. Decades ago, several residents mysteriously vanished without a trace. The case was never solved, and the missing were presumed lost forever, but rumors began to circulate that the spirits of the missing never left. Instead, they became ghostly presences that haunted the streets of the town, their whispers echoing in the mist.
Kate, a determined young journalist, arrives in Frostmoon Town with the goal of uncovering the truth behind the disappearances. Initially, she dismisses the story as an ordinary small-town mystery. However, as night falls and the mist rolls in, she feels an unshakable sense of dread.
