The services provided by the SOSST international crowdfunding platform include, but are not limited to, crowdfunding services and related support services. We may update these terms at any time based on legal requirements, service changes, or industry practices. We recommend that you regularly review these terms. If you continue to use the platform after the terms are updated, it means you accept the latest version of the terms. For ease of understanding, we may translate these terms into other languages, but in case of a conflict between the translated version and the Chinese version of the terms, the Chinese version shall prevail.

SOSST International Crowdfunding (hereinafter referred to as "the Platform") provides individuals, groups, or businesses an opportunity to launch creative projects and raise funds through an online platform. Please read the following Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") carefully before using the Platform to ensure you fully understand and agree to the content of these Terms. By using the Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms.


Section 2. Account Creation and Account Management

  1. Account Registration Requirements
    To use the platform's services, users must first create an account on the platform. You must provide accurate, truthful, and complete information and keep it up to date. If false or inaccurate information is discovered, the platform has the right to suspend or terminate your account.
  2. Account Security
    You are responsible for the security and confidentiality of your account, including but not limited to your username, password, and all activities related to your account. You must immediately notify SOSST Crowdfunding of any unauthorized account usage. If there is any unauthorized login or account activity, you should promptly notify platform customer service. We are not responsible for any losses caused by account security issues.
  3. Account Cancellation and Termination
    You may cancel your account at any time, and SOSST Crowdfunding may terminate your account at any time under reasonable circumstances. For example, if you violate these terms, engage in illegal activities, or misuse the platform, the platform has the right to suspend or terminate your account. You agree to use your account in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and not to engage in illegal, fraudulent, or other wrongful activities through your account. The platform reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate the rules.
  4. Multiple Account Restriction
    Users are prohibited from creating multiple accounts to bypass platform restrictions. If such behavior occurs, the platform has the right to suspend or terminate all related accounts.

Section 3. Using the Platform

  1. License of Use
    SOSST Crowdfunding grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license, limited to initiating or supporting projects through the platform, and solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  2. Prohibited Actions
    You agree not to engage in the following actions:
  • Publishing false, misleading, or illegal content;
  • Engage in fraud or deceptive activities;
  • Deliberately disrupting the normal operation of the platform;
  • Uploading malware or viruses;
  • Stealing or using others' content or data without authorization.

    You agree to indemnify for all liabilities resulting from the violation of platform rules, including but not limited to legal lawsuits, damages, administrative penalties, etc.

Section 4. Project Initiation and Management

  1. Conditions for launching a project
    Only creators verified by the platform (such as individuals, companies, or other entities) can launch projects. Creators must follow the platform's requirements, provide accurate project information, and ensure that all content is legal and compliant.
  2. Project funding goal
    Projects must set a clear funding goal. If the funding goal is not reached, the platform will handle the funds according to the chosen fundraising method, and in most cases, the platform will refund the supporters' funds in full.
  3. Project updates and communication
    Creators should regularly update the project's progress, especially when there are delays or other issues. Creators have the responsibility to communicate with supporters through the platform and maintain transparency.
  4. Project reward commitment
    If the project successfully raises funds, the creator has an obligation to provide the promised rewards to supporters. If the rewards cannot be delivered on time, the creator must explain the reasons to the supporters and take appropriate corrective measures.

Section 5. Payment and Financial Commitments

  1. Funding commitment and payment
    Funds committed by supporters on the platform will be processed through third-party payment processors. Creators can collect funds from supporters once the project successfully raises the target amount. Funding commitments are typically frozen within 24 hours after the project ends, until the funding goal is reached.
  2. Refund Policy
    In certain situations, supporters may apply for a refund. For example:
  • The project was not successfully completed or the fundraising goal was not met;
  • The creator fails to provide rewards as promised or does not fulfill their commitments.

    In addition to the platform service fee, third-party payment processors (such as PayPal, Stripe, etc.) will charge standard payment processing fees. These fees will be borne by the supporters or creators, and the specific fee depends on the payment method and the country of origin.

    For projects that successfully raise funds, the funds will be paid to the creator according to the creator's settings. However, in some cases, SOSST crowdfunding may require the creator to provide additional identity verification information.

Section 6. Intellectual Property

  1. Content ownership
    All content published by users on the platform (including but not limited to text, images, videos, and audio) remains their intellectual property, and creators must ensure they have the legal right to use the content.
  2. Usage License
    By uploading content, the user grants SOSST crowdfunding the right to use the content, including displaying, editing, copying, distributing, translating, and promoting. This license is global, non-exclusive, and irrevocable.
  3. Content protection
    Content posted by users must not infringe on any third-party intellectual property, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, patents, etc. In case of infringement, the creator shall bear full responsibility and compensate the platform for any damages arising therefrom.

Section 7. User Behavior Code

  1. Legal and compliant
    All actions of users on the platform must comply with laws and regulations, and any illegal or harmful activities are strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to:
  • Disseminating malicious code, viruses, trojans, or malware;
  • Infringing on others' privacy, publishing illegal content;
  • Engage in malicious bidding, fraudulent donations, or other deceptive practices.

    If the platform finds that a user has violated these terms, SOSST Crowdfunding has the right to take the following actions:
  • Suspend or terminate the user's account;
  • Delete or block related content;
  • Take legal action to protect the platform and other users' rights.

Section 8. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer

    The services provided by the SOSST crowdfunding platform are provided "as is," with no express or implied warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the platform content. Users agree that the risk of using the platform services is borne by the user.
  2. Limitation of Liability
    Unless otherwise required by law, SOSST crowdfunding is not responsible for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the platform services (including but not limited to loss of profits, business interruption, or data loss). The platform's maximum liability is limited to the amount of fees paid.
  3. Force Majeure
    SOSST crowdfunding is not responsible for service interruptions or losses caused by force majeure events such as natural disasters, wars, system failures, etc.

Section 9. Data Protection and Privacy Policy

  1. Data Collection and Use
    SOSST crowdfunding is committed to respecting your privacy and collecting and using your personal information according to the privacy policy. The personal information we collect includes but is not limited to registration information, payment information, interaction records, etc. We will use this information to provide platform services, process payments, improve user experience, send notifications, etc.

    We take appropriate technical and administrative measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration. However, please understand that no online service can completely eliminate security risks. By using the platform services, you acknowledge and agree to these potential risks.

How long do we retain your information

The user account is no longer active and has not been used for a certain period of time.

Data Deletion Process: We will take reasonable technical and administrative measures to ensure that your personal information cannot be recovered or misused during the data deletion process. As part of the platform update, we have cleared all previous historical data.     The project content uploaded by users (such as text descriptions, images, videos, etc.) remains the property of the user. However, by uploading content, users grant SOSST Crowdfunding a global, non-exclusive, irrevocable license to display, distribute, edit, and promote the content on the platform.
  3. Fair Use of Platform Content
    Users have the right to view, share, comment, or support other users' project content on the platform. However, under no circumstances may users use platform content for commercial profit purposes unless they obtain written authorization from the platform.

Section 11. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

  1. Dispute Resolution
    If any dispute arises between you and SOSST Crowdfunding, both parties should first attempt to resolve the dispute through amicable negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved, it should be submitted to the court in the location of the platform for litigation, where the court will make a judgment in accordance with applicable laws.
  2. Applicable Law
    The interpretation, validity, and dispute resolution of these terms shall be governed by the laws of the platform's location. Regardless of your place of residence, the signing and performance of these terms shall follow the laws of the platform's location.
  3. Jurisdiction Court
    All disputes related to these terms shall be submitted to the People's Court at the location of the platform, and both parties agree to accept the jurisdiction of that court.

    SOSST Crowdfunding reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Any modifications will take effect when the updated terms are published, unless otherwise stated. If the platform decides to terminate the services, it will make the best effort to notify users in advance and will process all incomplete transactions according to relevant laws.

    Users may terminate platform services at any time by deactivating their accounts. After account deactivation, users will lose access to all platform services. The platform has the right to retain user-related data as necessary to comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

Section 15. Project Publishing and Fund Management

  1. Project Posting Rules
    All creators must adhere to the platform's project review rules when posting projects. The platform has the right to review any project and reject project content that does not comply with the rules. These rules include but are not limited to:
  • The project content must be true, legal, and not violate any laws or regulations;
  • Projects must not contain violence, pornography, racism, or other inappropriate content;
  • Creators should provide clear and specific project goals, a fund usage plan, and fundraising targets.

  • Fund Disbursement: After the fundraising ends, creators are required to submit necessary project progress reports and fund usage instructions. The platform has the right to decide whether to release the remaining funds based on the project's progress.
  • Funding Transparency: The platform will ensure the transparency and public disclosure of the funds used for each project. Creators are required to regularly update the project's progress and funding usage, and provide detailed reports to supporters.

  • Refund Conditions: If the project does not reach the fundraising goal, all supporters' funds will be refunded through the original payment method. If no agreement is reached, supporters can apply for arbitration in accordance with platform rules, and the platform is responsible for mediating disputes and making a fair judgment based on the rules.

The platform only acts as an intermediary providing related links and is not responsible for the quality, services, or actions of these third-party service providers. The platform reserves the right to take actions such as banning users, deleting content, or other measures for violations of the code of conduct.

    The platform provides certain promotion and exposure support, but creators should be aware that the ultimate success of the project depends on the quality of the project itself and the creator’s efforts. The platform encourages creators to use the tools provided for marketing and promotion, but does not guarantee the market performance or success of any project.
  3. Supporters' Feedback
    The platform encourages supporters to actively participate in the progress and feedback of the project, especially by providing constructive opinions during the project development process. Supporters' feedback helps creators improve the project and enhance the user experience.

Section 19. Effectiveness and Signing of the Contract

  1. Acceptance of Terms
    By using the SOSST Crowdfunding platform services, you are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to accept these "Terms of Use." By registering an account or performing any actions, you agree to comply with these terms.
  2. Terms Updates and Changes: The platform reserves the right to update these terms at any time based on actual operational circumstances and legal requirements. All creators should regularly check for updates to the platform's terms to ensure their actions comply with the latest regulations.

3. Creator's Responsibilities and Obligations

    • Creators must ensure the authenticity and compliance of the project content and bear full responsibility for project failure or non-delivery.
    • Creators should deliver the promised products or services on time. If they are unable to do so, they should proactively communicate with supporters and provide an explanation for the delay.
    • For project delays or waste of funds caused by the creator, the creator shall bear the corresponding responsibility and compensate the supporters for their losses according to the platform’s regulations.

4. Intellectual Property Protection

    • Project content posted by users on the platform (including but not limited to text, images, videos, audio, etc.) must comply with intellectual property laws. Creators must ensure that the content they post does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
    • The user grants the platform the right to use their content during the project’s release, promotion, display, etc., but such use is limited to the normal operation of the platform and project display.
    • If the project involves third-party intellectual property or content that requires authorization, the creator must ensure that the appropriate authorization has been obtained and assume all legal responsibility for any infringement.

5. Mandatory Arbitration and Applicable Law

  • Dispute Resolution
    • For disputes arising from this agreement, the user and the platform shall first resolve the issue through friendly negotiations. If negotiations cannot resolve the dispute, either party may file a lawsuit in the court located where the platform is based.
    • The user agrees that in the event of a dispute, the platform may choose to resolve the dispute through mandatory arbitration, and the arbitration result shall be final and binding.

    • The interpretation, execution, and dispute resolution of this agreement shall be governed by the laws of the platform’s location.

6. Force Majeure Clause

    • The platform has the right to conduct subsequent supervision based on project content, fund flow, etc., to ensure that the creator honors their commitments and delivers the project on time.

8. The Platform's Right to Change and Terminate Services

In certain special cases, the platform may change its operating policies or terminate certain services. This part of the terms should be explained in advance.

  • Platform's right to modify
    • The platform has the right to adjust these terms of use and service content at any time according to operational needs or changes in laws and regulations. The adjusted terms will be communicated to users through platform announcements or emails.
  • Platform Service Termination
    • If the platform's services cannot continue due to force majeure, legal provisions, or other reasons beyond the platform's control, the platform has the right to suspend or terminate the services and will make efforts to notify the users.

21 Additional Supplement - In case of any conflict with the above, the final interpretation rights belong to SOSST Crowdfunding.

You must bear all responsibilities during the project release process, and the platform does not guarantee the authenticity or legality of the project content.

3.2 Project Funding and Support
Supporters provide funding for creators' projects through the platform. The funds will be officially deducted once the project reaches its fundraising goal. If the project does not meet the goal, the pledged funds will not be deducted. You can modify or cancel your funding commitment before the project ends.

3.3 Funds Payment and Rewards Delivery
Once the project funding is successful, the platform will deduct the service fee and pay the funds to the creator. The creator is obligated to deliver rewards as promised. If the project fails or the creator fails to deliver on time, the creator must make efforts to negotiate a solution with the supporters.


Section 4: Prohibited Actions and Responsibilities

4.1 Prohibition of Illegal Activities
Users are prohibited from posting any illegal, infringing, or harmful information on the platform, including but not limited to false information, malicious fraud, obscene content, illegal goods, etc. The platform will delete content that violates the regulations and may take measures such as account suspension.

4.2 Intellectual Property
You retain ownership and intellectual property rights over the content you publish on the platform. If the content you publish on the platform infringes on the copyright or other legal rights of others, you shall bear all legal responsibility.

4.3 Anti-Spam
Users are prohibited from sending spam emails or other forms of unauthorized advertisements through the platform. The platform has the right to monitor related activities and take appropriate actions, including but not limited to banning accounts, deleting content, etc.

Section 7: Creator’s Responsibilities and Obligations

7.1 Creator’s Commitment
The creator commits to executing the project according to the project description and promised plan, and to communicating project progress to supporters in a timely manner. If, for any reason, the rewards cannot be delivered on time or the project cannot be completed, the creator must proactively contact the supporters and provide a refund or compensation plan.

7.2 Project Failure Handling
If the project fails to meet the expected goals or fails for some reason, the creator should ensure that refunds, compensation, or other alternatives are provided to the supporters.


Section 8: Intellectual Property and Content Management

8.1 Copyright of User Content
The content you publish on the platform, including but not limited to text, images, videos, etc., is owned by you, but you grant the platform a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it, including for project display, promotion, and publicity.

8.2 Platform Content Copyright
All services, logos, designs, etc., provided by the platform are owned by the platform, and you may not copy, modify, or otherwise use the platform's copyrighted content without authorization.
