Trust between creators and supporters is crucial on our crowdfunding platform, and our platform is built to be trustworthy. Therefore, we outline the responsibilities and relevant information required to participate in crowdfunding, ensuring that everyone can participate smoothly.

Responsibility of SOSST International Crowdfunding

If a user or project is found to violate the terms of use, SOSST International Crowdfunding will take action to remove inappropriate content or restrict user access.

SOSST International Crowdfunding does not assess the feasibility of creators' projects, nor does it monitor the use of funds, and it is not responsible for providing compensation when creators fail to fulfill their agreements with supporters.

To enhance trust, SOSST International Crowdfunding encourages open communication between creators, supporters, and the platform.

SOSST International Crowdfunding and supporters' expectations of creators

Creators must follow the platform rules and fulfill their commitments to supporters (as stated in the terms of use). This includes making efforts to deliver high-quality work, communicating progress honestly, using funds appropriately, and protecting supporters' personal information. Creators should deliver rewards as promised, provide refunds if necessary, or clearly explain the reasons for non-delivery. While delivering bad news is difficult, creators should thank their supporters and keep them informed of progress.

Unlike sellers on e-commerce websites, creators on SOSST International Crowdfunding do not automatically breach their contract with supporters if they fail to fulfill rewards or provide refunds. However, if creators fail to update progress, address supporters' issues, or otherwise breach the agreement, they may face legal action.

Creators must follow the platform rules and exercise extra caution when inviting collaborators or third parties to participate in projects. The platform will hold creators accountable for the use of their accounts and may suspend or terminate their access.

SOSST International Crowdfunding and Creators' Expectations for Supporters

Supporters are required to review projects, report violations, and take responsibility for their support when choosing to support a project. SOSST Crowdfunding provides supporters with the opportunity to support creative work in the early stages of project development. By supporting, supporters express their recognition of the creator's work and may even play a role in shaping culture and bringing about world-changing projects. Supporters must make decisions based on informed knowledge.

Unlike e-commerce site projects, projects on Nanbei Crowdfunding are not finished products. Before supporting a project, backers should carefully review the project description, risks and challenges, comments, and updates to ensure there is no vague or unrealistic content. The comment feature is only open to backers, but anyone can ask the creator questions via the FAQ section. Backers should seek additional background information outside of Nanbei Crowdfunding and ask questions proactively. If any violations are found, backers can report them using the link at the bottom of the project page so we can take appropriate action.

If a creator does not respond or fulfill the rewards, supporters should contact the creator directly to request project updates. If supporters believe the creator has breached the agreement, they can take action outside of the South-North Crowdfunding platform, including legal action.
