The “Legend of the Wilderness” oil painting series is a visual epic about the vanishing of civilization and the rebirth of nature. As technology and industry rapidly advanced, the iron forests of cities once thrived, but over time, they have been abandoned and overtaken by nature. What were once vibrant and passionate urban landscapes are now decaying ruins, where the passage of time relentlessly erodes every brick and inch of land.
In these ruins, the wilderness and nature begin to revive. Wild grasses crawl up skyscrapers, vines entwine abandoned buildings, and forests find space to grow in the cracks of the city. On the deserted streets, the wind blows dust, and fallen leaves scatter as if nature is conversing with the once-glorious civilization. Each painting serves as a testament to the passage of time, recording humanity’s rise and fall between prosperity and decline, illustrating how nature gradually consumes human relics and ultimately restores balance in its own way.
