Story

Island in the Sky is a series of levitation installation artworks that merge science fiction with nature. The artist uses innovative levitation technology and intricate design to create floating islands that seem to hover in the air. Through visual illusions and the clever arrangement of space, viewers are transported into a futuristic world where islands no longer rest on the ground, but float in the sky, provoking deep reflections on the relationship between nature and technology, reality and fantasy.

Each installation piece carefully replicates the natural form of islands, including rocks, vegetation, even water surfaces and clouds, all suspended through advanced technological methods. Using techniques such as magnetic levitation and aerodynamics, the artist creates a levitation effect that is almost undetectable, making it seem as though these islands are suspended by invisible forces, floating beyond the realms of reality.

Island in the Sky is not merely an artistic reproduction of natural landscapes; it also explores the fusion of nature and human technology. This project will be launched through a crowdfunding platform, and the funds raised will be used for the design and fabrication of the levitation devices, procurement and calibration of technical equipment, and the installation and setup of the exhibition space. The artist hopes to spark viewers’ contemplation of the future and the relationship between technology and nature, leading them into a poetic world where the virtual and the real converge.
