Story

Beyond Light and Shadow is a series of black and white ceramic sculptures that explore artistic space and emotional expression beyond light and shadow. Using simple yet powerful sculpting techniques, the artist transforms ceramic materials into sculptures with unique expressive power, attempting to transcend the conventional framework of light and shadow and express the emotional world and artistic language within. The lines and forms of these sculptures are minimalist, yet each piece is filled with intense emotional tension, showcasing the contrast and harmony between black and white.

Ceramics, as a traditional artistic medium, are imbued with new life and meaning in Beyond Light and Shadow. The use of black and white tones is not just a visual choice but also symbolizes the artist’s contemplation of the essence of art.
