Highlights of the Event: The History and Origins of American Folktales: Before we begin, a professional storyteller will introduce the origins and evolution of American folktales. You will learn about regional legends, including Southern tales like John Henry, Western myths such as Bigfoot, and Native American creation stories. These stories provide insight into American history, society, and cultural values.

Classic Folktale Storytelling: Experienced storytellers will bring classic American folktales to life. You will hear thrilling tales of brave heroes, mythical creatures, moral lessons, and historical legends. Each story will be accompanied by engaging performances, with dynamic gestures and actions, transporting the audience into the heart of these captivating narratives.
