SOSST Project Creation and Publishing Process & Requirements

I. Project Creation Process
1. Log in and go to the project creation page


Action: Visit the official SOSST website and log in with an existing account. If you don't have one, complete the registration by filling in the required information on the signup page.

Enter the creation page: After logging in, click the profile icon in the top-right corner, select "Add Project," and go to the crowdfunding submission form page.

Permission Check: If not logged in or without an account, clicking the profile icon will prompt you to log in or register to ensure operation access.

2. Fill in the basic project information
Requirement: The project product must be original and not yet released on the market.

Title: Enter a concise and attractive project name, such as "Innovative Eco-Friendly Water Bottle Design."

Detailed Description: Explain the project background, goals, use of funds, and unique value—for example, "A water bottle made from recyclable materials to reduce plastic pollution."

Short Description: Keep under 100 words, used for project listings and search displays. For example, "Eco-friendly water bottle, perfect for daily trips, reducing plastic usage."

Category: Choose the relevant category (e.g., "Technology", "Art") to help the platform recommend your project.

Tags: Add keywords (e.g., "Sustainable", "Innovative") to improve search visibility.

3. Upload Visual Content


Featured Image: Upload a high-quality image to be displayed on the listing page, preferably a high-definition front view of the product.

Gallery Images: Upload 3-7 images showcasing different angles of the product, usage scenarios, or team working photos.

Video: Provide a project introduction or product demonstration video link (uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo) to enhance supporter engagement.

4. Set Event Time and Goals


Event Duration: Set clear start and end dates, preferably 2-3 months.

Fundraising Goal: Set the amount based on actual costs such as production, marketing, and logistics. You can refer to similar case studies.

Default Pledge Amount: Set a voluntary donation amount, such as $10, to encourage additional support.

Contributor List: Choose whether to display contributor names or keep them anonymous. Public projects may display names to enhance transparency.

Country Selection: Choose the country where the project is based or the target market (e.g., "Hong Kong", "USA", "Japan") to affect regional promotion.

5. Set Reward Options


Requirement: Must be an original product that has not been released for sale.
Reward Setup: Set the following details for different reward products:
Pledge Amount: The pricing must be lower than the future market release price.

Reward Image: Upload relevant images, such as a T-shirt design.

Reward Name: Name the reward, such as "Limited Edition T-shirt."

Estimated Delivery Time: For example, "December 2025."

Quantity: Specify the number of reward products.

Multiple Option Setup: Click "Add" to increase rewards (e.g., $50 T-shirt, $100 signed edition product), or click "Remove" to delete incorrect options.

Importance: Rewards are the core of attracting supporters and should be carefully designed.

6. Review and Submit


Review Form: Check the title, description, images, date, amount, and other details to ensure accuracy.

Agree to Terms: Check "I agree to the terms and conditions" to confirm compliance with the platform's policies.

Submit: Click the submit button to complete creation. The platform will conduct a review. Keep your contact information accessible for further communication.

Important Reminder: If there are any changes to the project, you can update it by clicking "My Projects" in the dashboard.

II. Project Submission Requirements
1. Legal Compliance
Comply with local laws: The project must comply with the laws and regulations of the region where it is located. Non-compliant projects will be rejected and may bear legal liabilities.

Platform Rules: Comply with SOSST rules, including product descriptions, reward settings, and protection of supporter rights. Non-compliant projects may be removed or permanently banned.

Legal Rewards: Rewards must be reasonable and truthful, avoiding false promises or exaggerated claims, as this may lead to project removal and legal risks.

2. Product Authenticity
Real and Feasible: The project and product must be genuine, with production and delivery capabilities, avoiding false advertising.

Prohibition of False Projects: The platform strictly monitors false or misleading projects. Violators will be suspended or canceled, and the responsibility lies with the project party.

Novelty and Innovation: The project should be unique, with no similar products, meeting market demand and possessing commercial feasibility.

3. Logistics and Shipping
Global Logistics: Ensure that reward products support global shipping and clarify the shipping reach for special regions.

International Compliance: Comply with international logistics laws, including tariffs, export restrictions, embargoed countries, etc. Regions where shipping is not possible should be clearly indicated in the project description.

Clear Explanation: If shipping cannot be made to certain countries, it must be stated on the project page to avoid disputes.

4. Intellectual Property Protection
No Infringement: The project must not infringe upon third-party patents, trademarks, copyrights, or other intellectual property rights.

Advance Protection: It is recommended to apply for intellectual property protection in advance for technology or creative projects.
